How to Pray Deliverance Prayers
- Invite the Holy Spirit; read a Psalm aloud (e.g., Psalm 27 or 91).
- Pray slowly and out loud. Mean every word; add specifics where needed.
- Stay gentle—no fear or hype. Jesus is Lord (Luke 10:19; James 4:7).
- If you feel pressure, tears, or yawning, pause, breathe, sip water, continue calmly.
- After prayer, remove triggering items and follow wise aftercare with Scripture.

Aftercare & Staying Free
Deliverance prayers are a beginning. Walk this simple path over the next 7–14 days to keep doors closed and peace established.
- 1
Seal It with Scripture
Read a Psalm aloud daily (try Psalm 27 or 91). Thank Jesus for freedom and ask the Holy Spirit to fill every space.
- 2
Remove Open Doors
Discard occult items, pornographic media, “energy” tools, and anything that triggers relapse. Break with old patterns.
- 3
Forgive Quickly
Refuse bitterness. Bless those who wrong you and release judgments. Keep short accounts with God and people.
- 4
Replace Lies with Truth
When word curses or lies surface, speak Scripture out loud (e.g., John 8:36). Renounce the lie and receive God’s truth.
- 5
Daily Rhythm
Pray, read the Word, worship, and take communion regularly. Track small wins. Rest well and hydrate.
- 6
Guard the Night
Pray before bed; play audio Scripture softly if helpful. If torment tries to return, submit to God and resist (James 4:7).
- 7
Stay Connected
Plug into a healthy church. Ask for accountability. If needed, book a deliverance session for follow-up.
“As I prayed through the steps, the oppression lifted and I slept in peace.”— J., UK
